A cleaner marine environment – How?
The Danish marine environment is under pressure. We only have four years left before the sea along the coasts must be in good ecological condition, says the EU's water framework directive. But nutrients from agriculture and harmful chemicals from waste water and shipping continue to threaten life under water.
How can it be that our marine environment is still not in good ecological condition when we have made efforts since the 1980s? Where do the emissions come from? Do we lack technical solutions, or are we waiting for the politicians to bring existing solutions into play?
Get answers to the questions for this conference. We have invited a number of experts who present the first results from a major new project, financed by the Velux Foundation, and other important research results - all with a focus on ensuring a clean ocean for everyone.
