Will we be flying green in 2025?
In his New Year's speech in 2022, the Prime Minister promised a green domestic route for the Danes in 2025, and a completely green domestic aviation in 2030. Two years later, the question is whether it is even realistic to fulfill either of the two goals?
We know that air transport is a major burden on the climate. Power-to-X technology can convert renewable energy from the sun and wind into green fuels (eSAF), so that we can fly more climate-friendly in the future. Aviation is difficult to electrify directly, but PtX can remove a large part of the climate impact of flights, and is therefore a big step towards a greener transport industry.
We take the debate with companies, state, municipality, organizations and universities to a debate about whether the objectives from the agreement can be achieved.
We also ask the panel what challenges and possible societal benefits Power-to-X can provide, in terms of industry and jobs.
Time 15 June at 10.15-11.15
