Climate and nature – friends or enemies?

Coexistence between renewable energy and nature is one of the solutions, if the buttons are not to pop in Denmark's green leader's jersey. But how can the interaction between setting up renewable energy and biodiversity work? And can we set up wind turbines in production forests? Those questions will be debated when we invite a civic association, a researcher and an energy company on stage on Thursday afternoon.

Come and meet:

  • Julia Kirch Kirkegaard, Associate Professor at DTU Wind and Energy Systems
  • Birthe Østergaard, chairman of Tversted Citizens and Tourist Association (in Hjørring Municipality)
  • Johannes Birk Schjelde-Peronard, Environmental Advisor, European Energy
  • Myles Oelofse, Vice President ESG, BeGreen
  • Bjarke Møller, director of the Green Transition Denmark

Malene Mortensen, chief consultant at Dansk Erhverv is the moderator.

Time: The. 29 at 16.00-16.45

Place: Climate People's Meeting in Middelfart, Rød Stage.

The event is organized by the Green Transition Denmark and Danish Business
