Climate People's Summit: The Battle for Our Landscapes

Frustrations about energy parks are taking over the media, local communities and politics. At the same time, we are facing major changes to the landscape, not only to make room for solar parks, but also when agricultural land is to be transformed into more nature to secure the marine environment and drinking water. So how do we get there in light of the frustrations and divisions that may arise? Is more ownership in the transition the way forward?

Time and place: Friday 28/8 at 2:30-3:15 PM – Grey stage

Panelists:

– Signe Bak Jørgensen, Project Manager, Energy City Skive, Skive Municipality

– Simon Westergaard Lex, University of Copenhagen, Department of Anthropology

– Anna Bjerre, The Alternative

– Anders Storgaard, Conservative People's Party

The debate is organized by the Green Transition Denmark and the University of Copenhagen, and takes place, among other things, in connection with the project MOOW.
