Has the EU forgotten the climate impact of buildings?
When: Saturday 18 June at 13:30-14:00
Where: The Climate and Energy Tent at the Folkemødet, Bornholm
How do we ensure a focus on buildings' total CO2 footprint when the building directive is under scrutiny? The EU building directive regulates the energy consumption of buildings, but the embedded CO2, which accounts for a large part of the overall climate impact, is hardly mentioned. In this panel discussion, we will look at the possibilities for a greener building directive that can regulate holistically and over all phases of a building's lifetime.
