Green Transition Denmark invites you to a webinar with a presentation of RGO's new phosphorus scenario. The vision in the scenario is that imports of phosphorus in feed – especially soy – and mineral phosphorus fertilizers are phased out. In the agriculture of the future, all feed for livestock is produced in Denmark. Protein for the animals is produced from grass and legumes, and we only have the number of livestock that can be produced with feed produced in Denmark.

The vision is a much more closed phosphorus cycle, where phosphorus is used more efficiently in agriculture and recirculated from the cities.

We invite a debate about the visions and also hear agriculture's own visions about phosphorus.

How do we reach the visions? Leading economists are debating new taxes, targeted regulation and phosphorus ceilings as political instruments in phosphorus regulation.

The event will be held virtually via Zoom and is free, but requires registration.

Read the program below or download it further down the page.

The event is organized by the Green Transition Denmark with support from the Velux Foundation.
