SEA CONFERENCE 2023 – How do we future-proof Denmark's seas?
THE MAXIMUM OF PARTICIPANTS HAS BEEN REACHED AND THERE ARE MORE ON THE WAITING LIST - it is therefore no longer possible to register for a conference or for a waiting list
Time: Thursday 23 November 2023 at 12.30-17.00
Place: The community hall at Christiansborg
The Danish gardens are suffering. Nutrients from agriculture and chemicals from shipping and waste water are some of the major sources of the poor state of the ocean.
The EU's Water Framework Directive must ensure a good ecological and chemical condition in the coastal waters throughout the EU, but Denmark still does not meet the requirements.
Can the new marine plan and water area plans put Denmark on the right course? And is more action needed?
Come and join in discussing proposed solutions with the politicians!
NOTE: Arrive in good time, as all participants must go through a security check. Participation is free, but registration is required.
If there are over 150 registrants, a waiting list will be created - there will be information about this.
