The dilemmas of transformation vs. demolition
The Building Policy Network focuses on the dilemmas of preservation vs. demolition. There is broad agreement that we must preserve more of the building's resources through less demolition and more preservation and transformation. At the same time, there is political discussion about whether municipalities should be able to reject demolitions of buildings.
However, the decision to preserve contains complex dilemmas that are rarely properly explained. At a seminar, we are therefore bringing together industry players to describe and qualify them so that they can subsequently be included in the political work.
Time and place: December 1, 1:00 PM-5:00 PM at Industriens Hus, Copenhagen
