The gas out of the heating – as soon as possible
Come to a meeting with IDA and the Green Transition Denmark. Get answers to how we get the gas out of the heating. What are the bottlenecks - and which barriers can and must be broken down so that we can reach it in good time before 2030?
Where: IDA, Kalvebod Brygge 31-33 1780 Copenhagen V, 1780.
Participation online is also possible.
When: Monday 5/9 at 18-21
Participation is free.
Description
The phasing out of gas boilers is urgent. The owners of gas boilers are impatient - many want district heating - preferably here and now. And both the security policy and the climate will benefit from a strongly accelerated transformation. But can it be done?
IDA Technology Assessment jointly organizes the Green Transition Denmark, IDA Energy and IDA Green Technology a meeting about the challenges:
– Bottlenecks in the restructuring – manpower, qualifications, contractors, suppliers.
– When is district heating sustainable district heating – without gas (and without wood pellets?)
- How far must the district heating go - and can collective local solutions be a middle way
– While we wait – can we make transitional solutions with gas boilers or individual heat pumps?
– Organization and possible decentralization. Cooperation between municipalities and citizens and possibly establishment of local energy communities
Speakers:
Hans Henrik Lindboe, Partner, EA Energy analysis
Torben Lindhardt, Danish Metal, responsible for i.a. the blacksmith courses
Søren Magnussen, Consultant, Danish District Heating
Jakob Jespersen, Climate Coordinator, Lyngby Taarbæk
Julie Abrahams, Green Transition Denmark
TBD – about individual or joint heat pumps and cold district heating
Then Discussion.
