Webinar: Phosphorus and the sea – how do we deal with the accumulation?

Time: Thursday 31 March, at 9:00-10:30

Location: Online - link will be sent out by email before the event

In this webinar, we focus on the accumulation of phosphorus in agricultural soil and sediment, and what significance this has for the aquatic environment - especially the sea. We must ensure a good ecological condition in the coastal waters, and everything indicates that there is still a long way to go. The watershed plans focus on nitrogen, but phosphorus is also a problem. How do we best manage the phosphorus resource? How do the phosphorus pools affect lakes and seas? What effect does the removal of agricultural land have on the supply of phosphorus to the aquatic environment? How do we best get rid of the large phosphorus pools? And how long will it take?

These are some of the questions we will get to know together.
