The elections to the European Parliament in June can have a very significant impact on the climate, environment and biodiversity
The green transformation of our society here at home and internationally depends on what decisions are made at EU level. Therefore, in the run-up to the European Parliament elections on 9 June, RGO will spread knowledge to everyone who is interested in the major green agendas in the community.
Back in 2019, the election was characterized by a massive focus on climate with subsequent agreements on the Green Deal and more ambitious climate targets, both in the EU and several of the member states. Now the composition of the new European Parliament will be decisive for whether the EU continues on the green path, or whether the ambitions are rolled back to the great detriment of the green transformation of our society.
On this page, we inform about our EU debate meetings, and you can also find our latest chronicles, articles and publications about the EU.
