We are working to make Denmark a pioneer in Europe in the conversion of heavy transport from diesel to electricity. Electrification of heavy transport is largely possible and will benefit truckers and society.

There are now trucks with sufficient range and a lot of publicly accessible charging infrastructure has been set up.

There are 3 good reasons in particular why truckers should switch to electric trucks. Firstly, electricity is a cheaper fuel than diesel. Secondly, we can produce electricity ourselves, which makes us less dependent on unstable foreign regimes. And last but not least, we will significantly reduce the amount of CO2 emissions.

Green Transition Denmark receives funding from the European Climate Foundation (ECF) and Sunrise to work towards a faster transition of trucks in Denmark and the EU.
