RGO is looking for interns for autumn 2025
Are you interested in climate, energy, transport, the environment, circular economy and bioresources? Are you pursuing higher education and are you passionate about the green transition?
Then you now have the opportunity to become an intern at the Green Transition Denmark. We are looking for 3-4 talented interns for the fall of 2025 who would like to learn how to work in a green solutions tank and help accelerate Denmark's green transition. We are looking for students in a natural or social science education who want to have an internship with lots of meaning, learning and good colleagues.
Intern at the Green Transition Denmark
As an intern at RGO, you will become part of an environmental organization and green solution think tank that has worked for the green transition in Denmark and the EU for more than three decades. We have a mission to make Denmark a climate-positive society that can live within planetary boundaries by 2040. With us, you can become part of a strong professional team, where we all work passionately for the green transition. You can strengthen your knowledge and your network. Although we all work dedicatedly on our projects, we emphasize a good working environment, friendliness and a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Your tasks as an intern
You will be associated with one of our four main clusters – circular economy, bioresources/food, energy/climate or transport. You can help collect and process data, conduct analyses and contribute to one of our many projects on the green transition, as well as prepare funding applications. And you can help organize events, network meetings and future labs, where you can get a stronger network yourself.

What skills are we looking for?
- You are pursuing a higher education in the natural and social sciences. Whether you are a biologist, physicist, economist, political scientist, anthropologist or perhaps something else is not so crucial, but it is important that you are passionate about the climate and the green transition.
- You have strong analytical skills. It is an advantage if you are skilled in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative analyses.
- You are good at communicating both written and oral.
- You can work independently and would like to contribute to finding green solutions.
- You are collaborative and are the type who makes the team better.
The internship
The internship is 37 hours per week. The ideal period is from mid-August 2025 to December 2025. There may be the possibility of subsequent employment as a student. You will report to the academic manager in your main cluster. We provide a financial stipend of 3000 DKK/month, which can supplement your SU.
